When I saw this place called Film Fresh, I was a bit skeptical about what they might have in films since it was obvious that they were advertising sometimes little known and independent films. Then I started to look around. Did you know that they have Capote available? That’s the film that stars Philip Seymour Hoffman in his Oscar winning role of Truman Capote. Great movie!

Really, that was the only one, right? No, found another one that I have not heard of called The Hoax starring Richard Gere, Alfred Molina and Stanley Tucci.

They have a lot of titles that are also international films, subtitles included. You would want one of those for that snuggly, sit on the couch together type nights.

All of the films are available by buying the DVD. Many can be purchased by downloading or they can be rented. They have a guarantees on those films too. All you have to do is become a member of Film Fresh and the whole list is yours to check out. Plus you get discounts on purchases too.

I like looking at furniture but I usually am checking out living room items and bedroom furniture. It is a rare thing for me to be looking at Dining Furniture but this was fun. I have picked out a couple of the table and chair sets that I would put into my house when I move into the bigger house we intend to have soon.

I have to admit that since I’m a little older now, the traditional look is great for me. I am not liking the more modern tables and chairs but I am certain there are many of you who do like that type of table and chairs for your Dining Room Furniture. The first one is really a family dining room table and chairs. I love it because of it’s simplicity and it looks like a family is going to sit down any minute now.

Second one is the more Formal Dining Room Furniture but I love it because our family always has one time of year that we sit down to a more formal dinner and that’s at Thanksgiving. I think we would use this set more since it’s inviting us to sit and be comfortable. I really like them.

I suspect that if you are currently looking for a new Dining Room Table or if you will be in the future, you might want to mosey on over to this website to see what else they have. I can tell you that they do have a large selection. I believe that they will have at least one you like.

I do not have this movie at home. We first saw it by borrowing it from my sister. Both my husband and I fell in love with the movie right from the start. Granted, it is a tad strange but that’s part of it’s charm. Tonight, we saw it again, this time on one of the movie channels on our cable.

The film stars Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Christopher Plummer. This reunites Bullock and Reeves for the first time since 1994 in the movie Speed. It is set in the present day or part of it is. Essentially, the two people, Alex and Kate, have started getting to know each other by using the mailbox at the Lake House. They both live there but at different times, different years. The mailbox appears to be their one way of communicating to each other. But, something happens when they try to set up a time to meet. It is an awesome movie which I am putting on my buy it now list.

There are times when I simply think that I live in another world. When I was growing up, I loved to play softball. Boys played baseball..girls played softball. Boys got to play in Dad’s club, little league and so on. Girls got to play in Dad’s club. That’s it. But I loved it. I had a really great glove and a bit if skill, if I do say so myself. The brand names were Rawlings and Louisville Slugger. The bats were Sluggers and the gloves came from Rawlings. Ah but now, things have changed.

I went to a baseball equipment site and took a look around. It was awesome. I haven’t seen that type of equipment for baseball ever. Of course, I haven’t played softball since I was about 12 either. Not going to tell you how many years that was but it’s been a LONG time. Take my word. Anyway, for those who are interested in that sort of thing, you should check the site out.

Next Stop London

Sometimes it is absolutely impossible to plan very far ahead. Things come up at the last minute and one has to find accommodations fast, find ways to get to a destination and be able to rest and relax once they are there. Whether you’re headed for London, Manchester or Birmingham, places to stay at affordable prices are right there for you when you need them.

For instance, let’s say that you want to find a place to stay in London. Hotels in London are usually booked up ahead, sometimes months ahead. So, what are you going to do? CheaperthanHotels.com can handle this for you. They have the accommodations available, some in pretty fancy places like this 5 star hotel, the Ascott Mayfair in London, with discounted rates. Beautiful.

Headed off to Manchester? The hotels in Manchester will give you all that you need for a wonderful stay whether it’s for business or family outing. The Britannia Country House Hotel can give you last minute reservations. This centrally located hotel allows children age 14 and under to stay free with parents in the room. The kids will love the indoor pool and you can enjoy the football club and the cricket club not far away.

One more stop at Birmingham will show you that hotels in Birmingham are bright and cheerfully appointed at the Comfort Zone Serviced Apartments where you will also be able to have last minute accommodations. Affordably priced for folks who love the luxury apartments with 2-3 bedrooms, a bathroom and two showers, fully appointed kitchen, free DVDs and movies and so much more.

In the past, companies were out for the big dollar and not much else. Times have changed. Not all companies are willing to help the local citizens to either become healthy or to stay healthy but many are ready and willing to take action for this goal. In our area, businesses comply with the federal laws concerning health and safety but do they really care about the local citizens? I believe most do. We are a small community of mostly retired folks who care about what is going on around them.

EDGS (Environmental Data Solutions Group) help companies to manage their compliance with state and federal laws concerning the environment. They have developed EHS Compliance Software that helps in the planning stages and well as the compliance stages of health and environmental issues. Also available are EHS Compliance Software products that give the client the help they need in tracking air quality.

Innovative EHS Compliance Software takes the client from the beginning to the end with configuration planning, the software installation, training to use the software and hardware, configuring the system, implementation, post-implementation reviews and much more.

I never really thought much about people who have problems breathing until I had that problem myself when I had bronchitis over and over again for 12 years. Then my Mom started having problems with that because she smoked for so many years. She has ended up with major breathing difficulties due to emphysema which they now call COPD. The real difficulty comes in when she’s out somewhere and cannot use her at home nebulizer. So, going out, she has a portable one and a little machine to check blood oxygen levels called a pulse oximeter. It sure does save the day when she has an attack.

I always thought that that sort of thing happened to other people but it has happened to our family now. The first thing that I would tell anyone about this is to stop smoking. It isn’t worth it. Second, if you have problems like that, get to a doctor for treatment. I really didn’t do that when I had bronchitis most of the time. I was so used to it by then that it didn’t seem to matter one way or the other. But it really does. If you get treatment, you don’t have the after effects like the cough…well, not much of one. See the doc if you have these problems.

My husband and I both have major pain problems from time to time. We both have back pain, knee pains and so much more. Both of us know that our difficulties are not nearly as severe as others are but, nevertheless, when pain is part of your life, the life is completely different than it was before.

The real problem is finding some type of pain relief. There are the usual ones, of course; aspirin, ibuprofen and assorted others. But nothing is very good for any length of time at all. What we both need is a solution to needing osteoarthritis relief. When I think of all the time and money we have spent out trying to get that and coming up with partial help and not much more, I just want to scream. But you know what? We did find something that appears to work quite well. And the really nice thing about it is that it’s all natural. Isn’t that great?

Name of the stuff is NMS (Neuromuscular Support). This is an all natural supplement from Natural Formulations, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Usually, when the supplement is all natural, it takes days to build up in your system and you finally get some relief after all that. BUT, this supplement is much faster acting. For instance, my husband took two capsules tonight and now has very little pains or aches. At this time of night, he is usually really feeling those pains and aches. I have to say that this stuff is great!!

When I was growing up, there was a guy up the alley from us who was always finding old, rusty cars and restoring them to their original shape or fixing it better than it was in the first place. He would usually work on one for anywhere from six months to a couple of years. It was fantastic when he got finished because that car would be hot looking. Of course, I think a Deuce Coupe is hot looking.

Just today, I was wondering what this guy would do if he had the Chrysler 300 accessories to work with. At the time, he was working on the car as he got the money. Once he sold one, which was the reason for restoring them, he would have enough money to get another junker and start on it. I can just see it now with all those really classy accessories. What a great car that would be.

Like you, I have seen the ads for mystery shoppers too. Most of them seemed to be not quite right so I passed them by. Besides, in my area, how much mystery shopping can I actually do? (We don’t have much here) But businesses are now turning to a mystery shopper service as a way of deciding how best to serve the customers.

BestMark, which has been in business since 1986, manages several types of surveys including customer satisfaction surveys as well as auditing for small businesses to fortune 500 companies. They are able, through the surveys and audits, to track the trends and behaviors of the customers that will impact long term satisfaction. The list of industries they serve is too long for me to show here.

Becoming a mystery shopper for these folks is easy. There are 11 opportunities for that in my state alone (we live in Arkansas). All you have to do is sign up! They take it from there. If you are 21 years old or over, have good transportation, are willing to pay attention to detail, have good writing skills and have full access to the internet, you are qualified to try for this amazing and fun job.
