Selling Online

Most of us these days buy stuff online. Or at least we buy things online here in the sticks because we can get much more than if we were relying on what’s available right in our area. I am so glad of that. I have no idea what we would be doing without that. Well, yes I do. We would be traveling to some large city to buy what we need meaning that we would buy that sort of thing once in a great while.

But for those of us who have sold online there is another situation. I used to sell on eBay where you can literally sell almost anything. I used to sell fantastic Christian games that were challenging and very good. The problem that I found right away was that I had to have a good shipping container. Now we do have a box manufacturer here in the area but they sell wholesale to businesses. While I considered me a business, it wasn’t what they thought. So, what I really needed were custom boxes since they were an odd size. Do you think I could find them? Nope. We ended up using other things that were not specifically for that purpose. I sure wished I could have the right container since what I was shipping was crushable. I think I would do it differently these days. Live and learn.

If you have waited until now to buy the toys, it could be a real stretch to get them. But, the top toys this year are varied but more or less predictable. First, the Wii is on top of the games list. Everyone wants a Wii this year. Hot item. Don’t forget to add the games! Next, you will find the PS3 console and the bundles that go with it. After that, XBOX and Nintendo with PSP coming up on them. These are truly hot items in the games department.

If you are looking to surprise the boys and girls with something a bit different, the word is robots. You will simply have to look for yourself because the list is rather long and varied on that subject. I will say that the stores have stated that they are down on sales this year so it is possible to get that really great robot toy at the last minute.

Learning and educational toys are hot as well. It’s a great idea to give your children something that will teach them what the schools will not. You can start with children 3 and up with the wonderful learning toys available.

Whatever you may be looking for, now is the time to get out there and find it. There are only a very few shopping days left until Christmas. As of this writing, only 5 days are left. Boy, time sure flies when you’re having fits fun, doesn’t it.

Happy Shopping!!!

When I play chess, it’s usually against the computer because I do not want to be beat yet again by either my husband or niece. So, I find a way to play the computer when they aren’t watching. The humiliation would be too much. LOL!

But, many folks would love to play online with other players instead of the unfeeling computer. Are you one of those people? Say no more. Play Chess Online at Yupgames.com where you have the option of choosing your opponent or just click on the button that says match. Then they will match you with somebody who is ready and waiting to play. I just got started looking around so I have not had the pleasure of playing there as yet. How about it? Your turn.

I find myself trying very hard to stay away from the elaborate games that you find on the net. The reason for that is that if I get in one of those games, and I like it, I do not come up for air anytime in the next week or so. So, you can imagine what it would be like if I gave in and got a playstation 3, right? I think that I have resisted all this time just so that I could get the one that beats out the rest. Not sure what that would be but I’m sure we can figure it out eventually.

Thing is, those games are so addictive that I am sure that when folks buy them, they won’t be able to get away from them either. Ah, but that’s part of the charm, isn’t it. So, we will all fall under the spell of the games, games and more games.
