Welcome back!

I just love to look for coupons and discounts. Especially if the coupons or discounts are for things I am REALLY needing. For instance, we are about to retile a bedroom in our home. We needed to find a place that had all the products we needed to do this job since my husband and I have not done this before. We ended up checking out discounts at Home Depot, of course. There’s a video that tells you a little bit about the place and how to order. First thing, they don’t have coupons but they do have offers and discounts that are fantastic. I saw FREE SHIPPING on selected items and amounts too.

Next I went to another store that has great discounts. I saw a 50% off and “buy one, get one” on their page. They have a couple of 25% off on their products at the Family Christian Stores. I have been to a couple of those stores. The place is usually pretty big and has a lot of good books and items such as that fantastic T-shirt you might have been looking for everywhere. So, if you’re wanting to buy something for that special someone or you need a gift for a family member, go get those discounts and shop at Family Christian Stores. They are well worth it.

I love to shop. DUH! That’s what this blog is mostly about anyway. So, when I can find a great coupon or fantastic deal, I’m on it if I am really wanting that item. One of the sites that always catches my eye is CouponChief! Love the place. They have some awesome discount deals and online coupons available. What ya looking for today? Well, for me, it’s cooking stuff. I love to find new cooking gadgets as long as they are affordable. I think Cooking.com takes care of that problem.

How about printer ink? I have a lot of trouble finding AFFORDABLE ink cartridges, don’t you? We bought a printer from a discount store but when we needed cartridges, I might just as well have thrown the printer away and started over. We cannot afford to do that!! So, I started looking for places that had affordable ink cartridges. MyInks has such a deal and reputation. I have bought from them. They do what they say. The coupons and deals they have are great!! I might need to buy some more ink tanks.

I always check out Bestbuy for coupons and they didn’t let me down at all. They have some awesome stuff on sale. 20% of a digital camera, free shipping after some purchases, $100 off of a laundry pair. That’s just a couple of things. This place has too much to talk about here. Go check them out!

I was at the doctor’s office today and got some really great news. Well, great in that he suggested a new website to visit and join if I want to do so. Loved the idea because it is a Christian community sort of like MySpace. You create your own profile, join communities and friends. It looks really nice. It’s called Shout Life! I love it there.

If you are an author, it’s a great place too since there is a community of authors. It works that way for comedy folks, music folks, art folks and for those who simply want to get to know others with personal websites or blogs. You can join groups and communities, as many as you like. This is a friendly place for people who are tired of the old problem of language and sex innuendos. Take the time to check it out today.

I have found a great website! Can’t wait to share. If you love to cook, this is really the place for you. It’s called Im Cooked. The amazing thing is that this place appears to be just getting started so this is a ground floor opportunity!

On this site, you can share your fav recipes but not just write it down and post it. No way! You can cook the dish, film yourself cooking the dish and then post it on the site! Instant video star! The beauty of this is that the site is not full to the gills like YouTube is. Here you can still FIND something you’re looking for. And if you don’t, go find it, cook it and present it in video!!! Oh yes! This is fantastic. My only small but acute problem is that we do not have the ability to do the filming while cooking. Sigh.

On the other hand, it will be so easy to find things I want. And when they get really big, we can still find things because we were here early. So, what are you waiting for? Go check the site out.

Right now, your site can be featured for 24 hours on Fechr.com (you must get in line for this so hurry!!!) for FREE!!! At some point soon, it will cost a small fee. At the moment, this website is giving you traffic that is guarenteed to be 100 hits for the day. Now, I know that usually the hit count is way more than that.

web site promotion All you have to do to get in on this amazing offer is to blog about Fechr.com on your own site and submit that post to their site and get in line.

I just have one thing to say here. This site is giving away a 24 hour front page featuring YOUR WEBSITE for FREE!!! Do not miss this opportunity because it is not going to last too long.

Usually, I don’t do a lot of blogging tips mainly because it wouldn’t work well. I would rather give tips on getting the best cabbage or something. But, I ran across an article called “What we’re going to do together here” and I thought I would share this with you. He gives a couple of good tips and a major place to check your rankings and stats. I recommend doing this.

The name of the blog is My Thoughts. I love the look of the site. Good articles and very friendly. They have plenty of tips for you on a variety of subjects. It is worth the visit.

When I first heard about buying and selling domain names, I thought that was nuts. We’re talking about cyberspace here. That invisible place that no one has ever really seen but all of us know about. Some of us can visualize it. That big place in the air.

So, I saw this article on domain names being a really hot item because companies and individuals are trying to get a name for their websites that says the name in the url. I got a couple too. They are not so hard to come by as long as you do the research on them. The article I read today said that these guys were bidding at an auction for a specific name that ended up costing them $150,000. Wow! I wish.

But, this is an excellent time to tell you that there are domain names available at “Purrfect Domains” where the names are far cheaper than that! You should at least go look and see what’s available there. Hey, the names are pretty cool.

I recently ran across a great website of an artist who has spent over ten years in several countries drawing on the pavement. His name is Julian Beever. Perhaps you have heard of him. If you are like me, you haven’t until now but it will be an experience to enjoy. This man uses sidewalk chalk to make these incredible pictures. Personally, I would hate to watch them disappear when the rain starts.

I went to his website to see exactly what the shouting was about. This is an example of his work:

Just look at the originality of the work. Isn’t it hard to believe that all of that art work is on the pavement? I highly recommend his work to you. Go to his site and see for yourself. There are a number of other pictures, all incredible!!!

Usually I do not give out simply a list of places but these are not to be missed pics of one sort or another. You will love or hate them but there will be an emotion. Mine is usually to laugh myself silly but who knows. You may think they are too nuts to bother with. Here are a few places that you simply do not want to pass by.

Oh Boy. CAT!

That cat has had too much of something!

And You Thought Sidewalk Chalk Was Just For Kids!

There are two pics there not to miss.

To The Rescue!

Is that really that high? Uh, sure. I think. Maybe not. I dunno.

I have to admit, the blog is my own site. But, I have to pass along the last post I sent out on it. It’s so funny even to me. Okay, this is me tooting my own horn, I guess. However, it is a great CAT story so I just thought everyone would love it!! Any shot you would like to read it? Ah, okay, here is the link to And The Thunder Rolled! Laugh all you want. It really happened. All of it. I did not make anything up.

Enjoy my cat story and then come on back and read all my blog stuff. Won’t take long…about a coupla days or so. LOL!
