One of the things I love about the internet is that you can shop and find the best places to purchase those things that normally you do not have the bucks for if you shop at the local stores. That’s what I love about why buy.com rocks. It rocks because they have thousands and thousands of products that have slashed prices. You can save so much money going right to buy.com.

They have amazing prices plus FREE SHIPPING offers. I like their price comparison search engine that shows you the competitor’s prices along side buy.com prices. Their prices win, hands down. And how about the coupon for new customers…All brand new customers receive an exclusive $10 off of their $10 order coupon which is valid on any purchase. Add that to the huge selection of products, the free shipping offers, the price comparison engine plus much more and you already know why buy.com rocks, don’t you.

Now if that is not enough for you, Howie Mandel will give you the “What’s Shakin’” feature and Ryan Seacrest will show you the Deal Of The Week! Awesome. For just a bit more about why buy.com rocks, I have prepared you a small video. Enjoy!

The one reason I want to recommend this site is because I have shopped there myself. I bought several tees for my husband who is a big guy so I had to find shirts that would fit him. This site has the t-shirts to fit little people and big people too! The Christian Tees site is called Christianwear.net.

It’s sometimes hard to find good t-shirts at a reasonable price. These folks have the right prices and nice looking tees to boot. Hey, did I mention FREE SHIPPING on all orders?!!!! If you are looking for the shirts that will give a message of Christian values, this is the place to go.

In addition to all that, they have a button on site that will give you fund raising capabilities as well. If your church or organization wants to have a fund raiser, why not give this place a try. Believe me, they do deliver. I got my order very quickly just as I ordered it.

I found this brand new tee shop on the net! I wanted to mention it to you since I love t-shirts, especially one with a good message. My preference is for Christian and faith based tees so these are going to be some of my favs, I already know it! They have awesome messages. Lots of tees to choose from.

So, time to check out that brand new shop online, it’s Followmetees.com to get those really great tees. Hey, if you can’t find your size other places, this place has it. They go from adult small to 3X in a variety of colors. I love it!!! So will you.

It’s really hard to get noticed in the world of music since there are so many good singers in the world. But it takes someone who is special to grab us with their music. It looks like Alisa Apps is one such person. Having grown up in difficult circumstances, rising out of the negative into the positive, she has begun to make a name for herself.

Most recently, she was seen at a top shopping mall in the country, Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade, challenging people to sing with her. The song was Jingle Bells. How many people do you think actually sang with her? Would you? Here is a video of Alisa Apps and shoppers singing Jingle Bells…well, they try.

Did she really have to chase people down to sing? Come on, folks. It’s just Jingle Bells. Who doesn’t know Jingle Bells? Well, apparently a lot of folks. Hey guys, don’t quit your day jobs!! Alisa Apps, you go right ahead and sing away. Great voice!

I realize that the last minute gift ideas can be difficult to come by but this idea works especially for your resident sports fan. Now you can get your sports fan a dog tag that has the sport, the name of the person and/or an additional line on the tag. The symbols are for such things as football, basketball, baseball, soccer, bowling, hockey, stockcar and much more. As you can see in the picture below, I was able to get one for football since I’m a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Go Cowboys!

tag_5b.jpg

(The name of the person was blurred out on purpose. The tag looks great!)

But you do not have to limit yourself to sports because the tags can say just about anything you like. Except for obviously things that are not nice, you can have what you like engraved on the dog tags. If you have a love interest and you would like to give him or her something that is very different, this is your gift. As I said, the sports fan will love the dog tag to announce to the world what they love. So, pick a tag, pick a color, pick the words you want engraved and you’re in business!

Now, depending on how elaborate you want it to get, you have your dog tag ready to ship. One of the coolest parts is that they’re not expensive! For some fun in your life, get the dog tag!

My Momma’s Blog

My Momma has a very different style to her blogging. She is one of a kind to be sure. Her blog “Up Scheidt Creek” (sound it out. You’ll get it) uses the humor and jargon of the hills to tell her story as only she can tell it. Her latest blog entry “Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat” shows what type of down home common sense this lady has.

She likes to sometimes give the history of certain words and phrases like a computer with a problem has a “bug” in it. Her Bug category does have several entires in it. Whether it’s Brewing Gum or finding the history of bugs, this is a unique and funny blog that you should see for yourself.

This place, too, is on the strip in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas. We took a little look at their place and it was fantastic. The website will be okay but the shop is better by far. Not to say that the website won’t be great, it is. It’s called The Savory Pantry and has a large number of jellies and preserves. We ate the apple butter at the restaurant next door and I can tell you that, although it is not my Grandmother’s homemade apple butter, it is pretty close to it!!

cinnamonapplepancakemix.jpg

Apple Pecan Preserves, Apple Cinnamon Syrup, Stonewall Kitchen Cinnamon Apple Pancake Mix, and for those who don’t like apples…Cranberry Chutney, Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, Hot Pepper Jelly, Olive & Herb Bread Spread and so much more that I cannot put it all here on this post or I would be here all night long. It is awesome. I plan to get some of these before too much longer and, frankly, I have found a place to get Christmas presents too!!

What are you in the mood to save money on right now? What sparks your interest? Computers? Pet supplies? Furniture? Office supplies? Clothing? What does it take to get your interest in saving money? With the holiday season coming up fast, you will be looking for presents for the loved ones for Christmas, right? I hate to break it to you but Christmas is right around the corner. Only so many shopping days til Christmas. Get that present bought early this year!

Computers and supplies? Got it! So, I was cruising the net when I should happen to see this place that has fabulous coupon savings. All you have to do is use the promo codes and you have the savings that you really wanted on some really great things like..computers and supplies.

Ever heard of Mwave.com deals? No? You are about to because they have some absolutely fantastic savings on stuff like $30 Off a Viewsonic 22” Widescreen LCD Monitor w/1680×1050 Display. Then there is the $40 Off a Logitech Quickcam Fusion Webcam USB. This place has so much more, you need to go see it to believe it.

If you are anything like me, getting presents for the family includes a DVD or some music. Sometimes one needs something a little different than the usual thing so I looked at A&E Television coupon codes and the products and I was amazed to find a whole lot of savings there. The first thing that caught my eye was this: Up to 85% Off on new Clearance DVDs at The A&E Shop..and followed with this: Buy one Get one Free on the Modern Marvels series.

Christmas presents are going to be easy to buy this year.

From time to time, I like to show you some crazy pages that will tickle your funny bone or make you want to hit me. LOL! But, I have to share these because some of them will drive me crazy if I don’t find a way to get them out of my head. Just such a one is that Leek Spin I gave you in one of my earlier posts. If that doesn’t run through your mind all day, I know that there are things that will, like the badger song or the banana phone. Those are nuts!

I haven’t given you the Banana Phone yet? Oops! I have to change that.

The Banana Phone

What else can I have you visit? Some games and fun stuff without names, I think. I shall give them names:

The Balance Game

Fly Swatter

Lite Brite

And one more for the road:

Badgers In England

That’s about it for this time. Happy Shopping!!!

This is a shopping experience of a different kind, I suppose. Not long ago, I was on one of my bookmarking places when someone offered me some free advertising for my blog. Now, I have to tell you that the word FREE jumped out at me. I LOVE **FREE** when it’s something I want. So, I checked them out and it’s great. The site is called “Adgridwork” and is free advertising for not only bloggers but also for businesses and for websites.

All you have to do is register, enter your blog and receive a widget that goes on your site. The little white boxes on my sidebar are that advertising for someone else. They advert you and you do the same. It cycles through so that you don’t have the same ads each time. This is a great deal!! So, what are you waiting for? Go sign up!

NOTE: This was an unsolicited, non-paid post.
