Okay, I realize this is a little late for some places in the country but not all. Now, you have to be going to the fair anyway for this one but it does save some money for you. I tumbled to this one when I thought about it a little bit. Most things at the fair are outrageously priced. However, there are usually booths that are selling local canned goods, for instance. You can get some really good deals there.

I love walking through the booths anyway to see all the newest devices and services that are provided. You can find some pretty decent deals there too since they want to sell you something and they are having a huge sale right then, right there. Frankly, there are tons of promotional items too like pens, key rings, ball caps, calendars and writing paper. It’s a treasure trove of goodies if you look in the right places. I can come away with all sorts of things for free or little money doing that. Yes, I know. Do I really need the cap? No, but it’s fun to have it anyway. The pens are always needed, calendars too. We use those all the time.

The thing is that you can find low priced or free things everywhere. And there are always bargains for people who pay attention too. It’s the only reason I would go anywhere like that anymore.

That would be because you play games and you and family go on rides. I don’t do that. *grin* The games will get ya!

      Thanks for visiting.!

I love shopping at fairs because you can always ask for a lower price. It depends on how to approach the seller. If you just go there looking uninterested they will give a second thought. But if they see you really excited and showing that you really want the item, they would try to price you higher…

Vendors at the fair were not there just to promote their own products; some gave advice on how to save money on power bills, such as installing light dimmers or adding water saving devices to faucets.

I want to spend as much as I can when I go to the fair.

Well I understand that. Most people do just that. Having worked (in my very much younger days) with the carnivals, I know that the only things those folks have on their minds is getting between you and your wallet. Trust me. That’s it.

But in the booths where the local people are, there are some good deals to be had. That was all I was talking about. If you want to throw your money away on things you cannot win or ride rides that are, at the least, dangerous because, for the most part, they are not regulated as to safety, then have at it.

      Thanks for your visit!
