The news came out that Google wants to be the keeper of people’s medical records. They have already started to do this with a clinic in California. 1,500 to 10,000 patients will have their records stored through the search giant. They hope to have the records of as many people as possible because they believe that it is a logical step from those searches for health information online right now. However, since the records will supposedly have a password and they are not open to the general public, I do not see how it could benefit the general public wishing to find out more about their health concerns.

What I do see is that this giant, greedy online corporation is trying to put it’s fingers into as many collective money pies as it can. So far, it has tried and, in some cases, succeeded in destroying incomes from some bloggers who need the income badly…like stay-at-home Moms and the disabled people or low income people who need the money just to get the next bag of groceries. If you do not believe me, ask ANY blogger who lost their page rank in the google smackdown.

As for me, I do NOT want my records in the hands of some outfit that has greed and more greed on their minds. These people have proved that they are incapable of compassion or caring about others. So that is not the motivation for their wanting the records. Just ask yourself why they really need those records. WHY???? I can tell you now that it will not be to benefit any other people, only themselves all the way. DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE CONTROL OVER YOUR MED RECORDS. If you do, soon, they could have more control than you know.
