Do you have cats? If not, this probably won’t mean much to you. But we had two cats. Now there is one. Our other cat had a bad heart problem. Our boy kitty is left to be by himself, catwise, and I don’t think he likes it a bit. At this point in time, he argues about literally everything. He no longer likes his food, the treats, the way we yawn. He yowls about everything and tells on anyone doing something he does not like. Sigh. But do we get another cat? I am not sure that’s such a good idea either.

Why not? Okay, in the past, we got a cat from a rescue situation. She was a stray. The next one we got from a passel of cats, all of which were wanting someone’s attention, but he was special. For one thing, no one knew he was a he. They thought he was a she and therefore gave the cat a female name. Name change came as soon as we found out!! Poor guy. Of course, he had no idea.

Now, in that passel of cats, there were several but best known by Cat1a, Cat2b and so on. We finally came to CAT5e and that was the one we chose of all the other cats. We did not know if this one would be our best one but he looked promising. That cat is the one that is currently giving us such a fit because…well, because he has never been without a furry, purring counterpart before. We are still not certain it would be in our or his best interests to get another one so, for now, we will appease him in whatever way we can. It has just occurred to me that possibly his antics are a form of kitty blackmail to get what he wants. Hmmmm. Never thought of that!
