Welcome back!

On Monday, we had to go out of town for an overnight stay in a pretty nice town in southern Arkansas. The first time I really took a look at that town, I was impressed. I fell in love with it by the second stay overnight. That was a couple of years ago. Monday was probably the fourth or fifth time I had visited and stayed in a motel there but this time, I had my husband with me. Before, it was other relatives..my Mom and my niece. We had a good time every visit.

We were searching out breakfast since the only restaurant I really cared about was closed and for lease :( when we spotted a nifty little place in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas. It’s called The Pancake Shop. Now, that doesn’t sound all that different from a hundred others, does it? Actually, it might be. The local atmosphere is impressive in the establishment. There is an old town feel about it. The servers are all very attentive and extremely helpful. Norma was our server. I was not ignored or treated in any manner other than the nicest possible way.

Now, the food is great. I loved the omelet I had, a ham and cheese. The thing was filled with both and I could hardly eat it all. Anyone that knows me knows that this is an impressive thing. So, I just had to tell you about this wonderful breakfast restaurant. It does only serve breakfast and closes at 12:30pm so if you do want to see what they are all about, you have to hurry and get there for breakfast.

Their phone numbers are:

877-426-4887
501-624-5858

And the map page.

Happy Shopping!!!
