I made the mistake of going to Walmart today. It’s a pain when they have remodeled (again) the store you are so familiar with. Now, it’s a mystery yet again. Where is that? Where is this? We were just getting used to the last remodel. Yes, it does take us a little while but not that long, really. But just try to find what you want on your own. HA!! And ask an employee? Nope. They don’t know either. What was I looking for? A Wet Vac. My Mom is having problems with a heat pump that leaks and leaks and leaks. The unfortunate thing is that the heat pump is in her closet. It is a walkin closet.

So, my husband and I were looking for that Wet Vac. These days, if you want that, you will eventually get a shopvac, which is what we were actually seeking anyway. But what kind to buy? I don’t know from shopvacs. My husband did have a little experience, which is far more than I, but I do know a good buy when I see it. The smallest one, which Mom could actually pick up and carry, was only about $20 but it was not going to do the job because it didn’t have enough horsepower to pick up much of anything. It held a single gallon and had one horsepower. One????

Then we looked at the higher end. ACK!!! It was about $80 but it was way too much machine for Mom. 12 gallons and a whole lot of horses. What to do? We settled on a middle of the road model with a 5 gallon capacity (not bad) and a 4.5 horsepower pull (really not bad). It was affordable at about $70 including taxes. We think this will get the job done.

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming. Happy Shopping!!!
