Welcome back!

Are you a “do it yourself” person? That makes you a DIY. Do you have one in your home? My husband is a DIY and he recently tiled a floor in one of our bedrooms. It looks great!! But he could not have done it right had he not had some information on the job in the first place since he had never done that type of work before in his life. You know the old saying “knowledge is power“? It is so true. How can you do anything to improve your home without it? You can do anything with knowledge.

The place to wander into is DoItYourself.com. I was looking at a tutorial page on drywall. This page is just the beginning but it gives you a whole lot of information about drywall that, if you have never done it before or you want a refresher, is going to show you exactly how to do it. It even has a video on the page to teach you the basics. And that’s only the project planning and preparation stage. This site is going to walk you through the whole process.

I want you to know that I would want that kind of information before I ever started such a job. Just remember, they have home projects for lots of things. They have articles galore, 100 forums and DVDs on all sorts of topics that will help you get that home improvement done right.
