I was in high school when Herman’s Hermits showed up in the U.S. I loved the group. The first thing that I heard of theirs was “I’m Henry the 8th I Am”. I tried to get that but there isn’t a really good video of that. Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits have still been singing though I haven’t heard about them in literally years. You do remember all the girls screaming, right? Well, you can hear it here with Mrs. Brown in 1965 on the Ed Sullivan Show:

I am looking for some of the groups of the fifties and sixties. Sometimes, it’s sort of hard to remember that far back. If you have an idea of a group or just love some group, please let me know.

I put the first boomers video in the category. It was the one from the Kingston Trio. I love them. I will be glad to put more of them up although there are not as many videos as I would like.
      Thank you for your suggestion.

Just a note. The one Kingston Trio video I have is on Aug. 27th if it’s cycled off the front page.
