Welcome back!

I am not a golfer. Period. But my Dad was so I am aware of what it used to cost for golf balls. If you were good, you might only lose a ball or two on a round of golf. However, if you were just beginning, ouch! Those balls would be all over the course where you cannot find them. Your loss. That was then.

Now, golf balls are so expensive! If you buy new ones all the time, that bill must be pretty high by now. That seems like a rather high price to pay for learning how to golf better. Of course, that would also be a real incentive to do so too. Dad was pretty good but he lost golf balls all the time. It would gripe him no end to be missing golf balls at the end of the course. So, in a money saving moment, he decided to buy some golf balls that had been retrieved from the course because of other hapless…golfers. Now that made sense. Once in a great while after that, he would buy new ones, bright and shiny. Most of the time, he played with the other ones and was way happier.
